Open Health Care partnering with YMCA Baranco-Clark
BATON ROUGE – Families living in South Baton Rouge and Mid-City now have expanded access to family health care services at the new satellite location of Open Health Care Clinic as a result of a new partnership with the YMCA of the Capital Area. Located 2 miles from Louisiana State University at 1735 Thomas H. Delpit Drive, this new Open Health Care Clinic provides primary care, pediatric, and behavioral health services.
Kimberly Givens, a Family Nurse Practitioner, and Tanisha Winfrey, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, will provide medical care and mental health and substance use treatment, respectively.
Open Health Care Clinic accepts most private insurance plans as well as Medicare and expanded Medicaid coverage. The uninsured can access services through a sliding-fee scale based on income. Hours for the new clinic are Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Same-day sick, and televisit appointments are also available.

Open Health Care Clinic Announces Opening of Women’s Health Clinic
BATON ROUGE – Women living in the Baton Rouge area now have expanded access to health care services at the new Women’s Health Clinic located at 781 Colonial Drive (on the corner of Goodwood Blvd). Open Health Care Clinic is committed to providing women with quality, affordable gynecological and mental health services at this new location.
Providing medical care for both existing and new patients are Karli Boggs, MD, and Carol Patin, MD. Victoria Young, LCSW provides individual, and group mental health counseling and substance use treatment.
Open Health Care Clinics accept most private insurance plans as well as Medicare and Medicaid. The hours for the new Women’s Health Clinic are Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Urgent and tele-visit appointments are also available.

A ribbon-cutting ceremony featuring tours of the facility and a meet and greet with providers will be held on Thursday, November 17th, 2022, from 4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. and is open to the public.
