By the end of this presentation, the learner will be able to:
Discuss the use of pre-exposure prophylaxis (PrEP) as one component for the prevention of HIV infection in patients at high-risk for HIV/AIDS
Describe lessons learned from demonstration projects on the use of PrEP to lower community rates of HIV transmission
Identify strategies to provide PrEP and maintain at-risk persons for HIV on PrEP
